Collection: Alberto & Caterina Burzi, La Morra
Alberto Burzi's passion for agriculture was sparked by his grandparents, leading him to study oenology and take over the family vineyards in 2011. Today, Burzi farms several prime Barolo parcels, including the prized 90-year-old Capalot, utilizing meticulous viticultural techniques like 'tressage' and cover cropping to yield small, optimally ripe berries.
All wines are refined into Stockinger casks, which are customized for Alberto by steam instead of toast. The resulting wines are of compelling concentration and almost ethereal weightlessness.
