Collection: Vaira Aurelj, Vergne

Nestled in Vergne, the western limit of Barolo, Vaira Aurelj is a passion project founded by brothers Francesco and Giacomo.

Inheriting their father's love for viticulture and winemaking, the brothers have redefined the potential of Nebbiolo grapes. Francesco oversees the vineyards, employing biodynamic practices, while Giacomo meticulously applies a non-interventionist approach in the cellar.

This unwavering commitment to quality is evident in their distinctive wines, including the "FZ" or "Fuori Zona" (out of the Barolo zone) and the rare "Controcorrente" made with Nebbiolo rosé. The highly anticipated 2020 Barolo Fossati is a poetic summary of the hard work and dedication in both the vineyard and the cellar.
