Collection: San Barnaba, Serralunga d’Alba

San Barnaba emerged from the shared vision of brothers Roberto and Giovanni Pasquero. Leveraging their deep knowledge of Barolo's terrain as real estate professionals, they acquired an old Serralunga farmhouse and vineyards. They partnered with lifelong friend Francesco Rocca (son of Barbaresco's Bruno Rocca) to craft expressive wines. From their restored winery, the trio applies minimalist principles: indigenous yeasts, zero filtration, and patient élevage. They produce terroir-driven Barolo from nuanced crus like Monvigliero and Serra, while passionately reviving Piedmont’s overlooked indigenous varieties—Freisa, Timorasso, and Monvigliero’s sole Perlaverga vines. Their ethos remains clear: No ego. Only earth.
