Stella Binaria, Montalcino

Stella Binaria is the dream of Simone and Sofia, friends who met in the picturesque Montalcino hamlet of Castelnuovo dell'Abate. After rescuing a steep, north-facing vineyard, their winemaking adapts to each vintage. The results are their inaugural releases: the 2022 "La Notte" (The Night) and the 2023 "Il Giorno" (The Day).

Inaugural 2022 "La Notte" emerged from Montalcino's challenging first harvest: torrid heat. Through shared effort and help with carbonic, it evolves into a dark, sophisticated wine of surprising depth and kind rusticity.

2023 "Il Giorno" overcame Montalcino's rainy trials. Crafted via carbonic maceration, this vibrant Sangiovese radiates sunny generosity and joyful immediacy – an irrepressibly vivacious expression.
