Castrum Roche Langhe Nebbiolo 2024

Castrum Roche is the new Nebbiolo kid on the block, crafted by Isacco from his three organic Piedmont vineyards where only Nebbiolo is grown. He works according to organic principles without seeking certification – because it should be a conviction, not a marketing ploy.

Grapes are fully destemmed and fermented with native yeasts (spontaneous fermentation) for two to three weeks. No wooden barrels are used, allowing pure terroir expression. Minimal sulfur – just enough to protect the wine.

Tasting Profile: Light in color, with aromas of ripe red berries, herbs, and delicate earthy notes. Elegant and fine on the palate with beautiful, fluffy tannins and wonderful ripe acidity. The finish is mineral and super juicy – a wine bursting with energy and life.
