Giuseppe Gorelli (Azienda Agricola Gorelli) is world-renowned for crafting pure, age-worthy Brunello di Montalcino. Combining high-elevation terroir, organic vineyard stewardship, and classical cellar aging in large botti, Gorelli's small-production bottlings are among Montalcino's most sought-after wines.

Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2019 Magnum (1.5L) presents Gorelli's crown-jewel 2019 Riserva in large format for maximum aging potential. Sourced from choice old-vine parcels, fermented spontaneously, and matured for 48 months in large neutral oak casks, the magnum format enhances the wine's depth, freshness, and longevity.

Tasting Profile: Deep garnet red. Captivating aromatics of ripe black cherry, dried rose petals, iron earth, cured tobacco, star anise, and dark cocoa. Multi-dimensional and majestic on the palate, displaying powerful structure balanced by satiny tannins, bright mineral tension, and a noble, lingering saline finish.

Magnum format (1.5L) ideal for collectors and landmark celebrations. Decant 2 hours before serving at 16–18°C with braised beef short ribs, roasted game, or mature pecorino cheese.

Giuseppe Gorelli, Montalcino

Giuseppe Gorelli, a proud Montalcino native, began showcasing his winemaking talents at just 18, impressing the local consortium and learning from the legendary Giulio Gambelli. In 2017, he took a bold step and established his own winery in Northeast Montalcino, where he now tends to 6.3 hectares of vineyards known for their exceptional tannins and ideal growing conditions. His debut vintage in 2018 reflects his passion, with Sangiovese fermented spontaneously in Garbelotto casks, resulting in Rosso di Montalcino aged for nine months and Brunello for four years. Recently, he declared his first "riserva" from the cool 2019 vintage and shared the exciting news of finding a permanent cantina for his Garbelotto bottis also in the Northewestern Montalcino.
