Montetino (Società Agricola Montetino) is an exciting natural wine project founded in late 2020 by Marco Carone and Benedetta Nicomede. Situated at Celano in the Velino–Sirente Regional Park high on Abruzzo's Fucino plain (700–750 meters above sea level), Montetino restores ancient mountain vineyards using organic and biodynamic rhythms. In the cellar, minimal intervention lets the high-altitude mountain terroir express itself with pure, unadulterated clarity.

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo "Le Foci" 2024 is crafted from 100% native Trebbiano d'Abruzzo grown on limestone-rich mountain slopes. Fermented spontaneously with indigenous yeasts and aged in neutral tanks with no additions, fine-fining, or filtration, "Le Foci" captures the crisp, razor-sharp energy of Abruzzo's alpine air.

Tasting Profile: Luminous pale straw-yellow with shimmering greenish reflections. Fragrant with mountain spring blossoms, white peach, crushed lemon peel, wild chamomile, and raw almond notes. Crisp and electric on the palate, combining vibrant citrus vitality with a chalky limestone mineral core and a clean, mouthwatering saline finish.

Serve chilled (10–12°C). Brilliant alongside fresh oysters, raw seafood crudo, grilled trout, fritto misto, goat cheese, or spring vegetable frittatas.
